1880 Census
Charlie Crump (line 16) is enumerated as living next door to his parents in 1880 working as a farmer.

This marriage certificate is between Charlie Crump and Mary Merritt who were married on 16 March 1884 at Asbury, in Cary, North Carolina by a Justice of the Peace.

1940 Census
Charlie Crump (line 74) is now a widower with his nephew/adopted son living with him in Wake County, North Carolina.
